Beneath Mount Eerwah
Long before the region became known as the Noosa Hinterland, this valley was home to the Kabi Kabi people.
Rising above the landscape, Mount Eerwah has long been a defining landmark. The valley below, once dense subtropical rainforest, gradually gave way to grazing land and small farms in the late 1800s - marking the beginning of its agricultural history.
At EVE, cattle continue to graze quietly across the rolling paddocks, honouring a legacy that began more than a century ago when the property was established as a dairy farm. This history and enduring connection to the land provide a timeless and distinctive backdrop, setting the stage for the Estate’s unique celebrations.
Today the land remains a working farm, preserving the natural character of the landscape while offering a setting of remarkable beauty.
Guests may encounter ‘Pierre’, the Estate’s resident peacock, or ‘Buddy’, the friendly kelpie often seen roaming the grounds - small but memorable details that add to the character of EVE.
